Kalamazoo, Michigan - October 3, 2011 - Stryker Corporation (NYSE:SYK) announced today the closing of its previously announced acquisition of privately-held Concentric Medical, Inc. (Concentric). Concentric develops, manufactures and markets minimally invasive products for the treatment of acute ischemic stroke (AIS).

As indicated in the August 31, 2011 press release, the transaction is expected to be neutral to Stryker's 2011 earnings per share.
